Valerie graduated from NUS and was called to the Singapore bar in 2014. She worked as a dispute resolution lawyer with corporate and advisory training in a large local law firm before diving into fintech and banking industry.

Having spent considerable time working in early-stage financial institutions (including being part of the team to launch Revolut in Singapore), Valerie is well-versed in navigating the legal, licensing and regulatory challenges startups face. She also has extensive experience managing relationships with regulators and anticipating potential legal and regulatory implications.

When not at work, Valerie can be found running after her toddler and dogs, practising yoga and/or drinking a questionable amount of caffeine.
