Managing Director

Pebble is the founder and managing director of Esquire.  She was called to the English Bar in 1996 and to the Singapore Bar in 1997 (having been awarded the Tan Ah Tah Prize for Professional Responsibility by the Board of Legal Education in Singapore).

Since 1998, Pebble has specialized in private equity investments, mergers and acquisitions, group restructurings and general corporate transactions and has advised clients at all stages from incorporation to a public offering or a trade sale.  She established the private equity investments practice for a mid-sized corporate practice at the start of the dot-com era and has remained active in the early and growth stage financing sectors ever since!  Having more legal and business experience under her belt, Pebble now also provides mentoring to boutique investment funds and early and growth stage companies.  She also serves as inhouse group counsel for a large integrated lifestyle group based in Singapore.

Pebble is also an independent director with a shipping company listed on the SGX Mainboard and a sustainability technology company listed on NASDAQ.

As all our clients who have visited our office will know, Pebble is an avid Lego builder and aims to become a Lego Master Builder one day.  Fortunately for Esquire, her legal transaction and negotiation skills are still significantly superior to her design skills.
